Cultural Anxiety and Its Impact on Students' Life: A Case Study of International Students in Wuhan University

Abstract: This article illustrates that how non similar culture become a cause of constant anxiety among international students in China. A survey was carried out among foreign students from different countries in Wuhan, China. The association among different variables like similar culture, issues related with Chinese culture is looked at through a regression analysis. In the light of empirical and descriptive analysis, a model is anticipated which elucidates these results. The study found that students who belong to different culture are more prone to the cultural anxiety and vice versa. Further, those students face cultural shocks who do not have any knowledge with the host culture. Study end up with some suggestions which will help to mitigate the anxiety among prospective students in Chinese universities.
